With the current restrictions most weddings these days are smaller, intimate celebrations but no less wonderful. When you have the right venue, good weather and a fab couple it’s amazing what you can achieve in 2 hours.

Finally some good news on the wedding front with numbers increasing and the future prospect of better times ahead.
It was a long wait, and whether you have 6, 25, 50 or more at your big day it will be worth the wait. It might have caused stress, tears, even driven you to drink but, just like when your love meets you at the top of the aisle, you know all will be good with the world.
Looking forward to the rest of this year and returning to doing what we do best, documenting the happiest of days no matter what the numbers are.

So looking forward to doing what we do best, being behind the camera capturing the little moments, the fun, the love, the timeless images alongside the “must have” shots.
Things are starting to look up so, if you are planning your big day and want images that capture the essence of your day with minimum fuss but maximum results we would love to hear from you.

With the first anniversary of our first full lockdown in Ireland approaches I thought it was time to share some happy smiles and fun times to break through the doom & gloom.
Weddings will happen again, we will get to celebrate with our nearest and dearest.
We will get to laugh, love & live again.
Hopefully the small selection of images will help put a spring in your step 🙂

My last wedding of 2020 was such a great day. Held during Covid restrictions Derrick & Emma were a joy to work with. Not only did they look uber-cool, they didn’t mind the rain or trekking across the city for some great street shots as well as visiting a few hidden gems for a picture perfect afternoon. This day proved that small weddings can be such wonderful days, and also that my home city of Dublin can provide fab backdrops for photos if you know your way around. “We would like Christmas shots, some city shots and most importantly shots with Bonnie (their dog)” – a simple brief made the day a breeze. With the ceremony in the great City Hall we had easy access to a few hidden walks as well as a planned route up towards Stephens Green to take in the lights. Hopefully the shots below can give you an idea of the day and perhaps some inspiration if you are planning a small celebration. Enjoy 🙂

With the wedding industry at a standstill I have been able to feed my passion for landscape photography. The current set of images were all taken around the Donabate/Portrane peninsula and within 5km.
One of the things keeping me going through the constant lockdowns is the natural beauty that surrounds us.
Standard prints are available framed or mounted, in 12*8 or 5*7 format or as canvas / acrylic wall art. Electronic files for commercial use are also available.
If you are interested in any of the images please just drop me a line and feel free to check out my landscape page at https://www.facebook.com/kevinmorrislandscapes
