Winter weddings are not always dark & damp affairs, very often the days are crisp and, with the early sunsets (and if you know what you are doing !!) you can create wonderful warm images. We had limited time at Lyrath Estate during Eimear & Williams wedding, but, with the sun playing ball, and a bit of know-how, we came up with this shot and I quite like it.
During the summer I had the privilege to shoot the wedding of Aimee & Thomas. From the moment I arrived till I left during the dancing, I was made feel so much at home and welcome, which made my job so much easier. Add in an incredibly relaxed couple, slightly mad bridesmaids, and a great venue….even the swarms of midges couldn’t pt a damper on things. I was so delighted to receive this lovely feedback from Aimee & Thomas ” We are truly overjoyed with our photos! They completely exceed expectations .They capture the whole day in a beautifully natural way and really enable people’s personalities and emotions to shine through. Sometimes things just come together, the light, the location, the couple. Was walking to a vantage point for a few pics of Deirdre & John and peered through the trees to see them sneak a kiss and the sun popped out to give them a nice backlight.

Starting with the preparations, this package includes coverage up to the start of the meal. All your images supplied on a personalised USB key, in full hi-resolution, print ready and non-watermarked. There is also a separate folder with all your images in lo-resolution for sharing via social media & email.

“Dublin can be heaven with a wedding at eleven and a stroll through Stephens Green” – okay – may be the wedding wasn’t quite eleven but we did stroll through Stephens Green and it was heaven for Phil & Chris who couldn’t contain their happiness as they tied the knot in the city registry office. The smiles were infectious and after a quick couple of hours I headed off with a skip in my step. All was made even better when I received a lovely message from the happy couple ” Hi Kevin. We are so absolutely trilled with the quality of your work. The photo presentation box is just beautiful. Some fantastic shots. The movie brought a tear to our eyes. Such a special and emotional day. Sometimes you have a shot in mind for a wedding day, and hopefully everything falls into place. I had planned this one for the Cliff at Lyons for a while, but only at Lisa & Brians recent wedding did the elements come together to create a memorable image. Although I am always informal & laid back, I do like to take a few minutes at each wedding to try and create something special.
