From the warm welcome, the endless laughs, the tears (good ones !) the attention to detail, the fab venue and the stunning weather it really was a day to remember. With the wedding industry at a standstill I have been able to feed my passion for landscape photography. The current set of images were all taken around the Donabate/Portrane peninsula and within 5km.
One of the things keeping me going through the constant lockdowns is the natural beauty that surrounds us.

Often an overused phrase, but a huge part of wedding photography is capturing those little moments, being in the right place, at the right time, but also being in the background allowing these moments to happen. I love the look of pure love & proudness as Sineads Mam looks at her daughter before she leaves for the church. These can’t be posed or redone and, for me, in years to come, these will be the photos that mean the most.
It was hard to go wrong shooting Rachael & Collies wedding – such a lovely couple, slightly giddy, great venue and even the torrential rain stopped so we could get a few outside pics. Even though, it was still a huge feeling of relief when I heard back from them 🙂
