Just before Christmas I had the pleasure of shooting Mary & Denis’ wedding in the stunning Glasson Hotel & Country Club. The brief was simple, keep the posing to a minimum, and, with the day that was in it (sub-zero temperatures !!) that wasn’t too hard as the big fires & mulled wine kept the trips outside for photos down to a minimum. A long day, as I stayed for the first dance, but a very enjoyable & rewarding one.

Always nice when couples take the time to write – especially when it’s good news !!Received an email from Anita & Dave after they picked up their wedding photos
“Hi Kevin,
Received our photographs this morning and myself and David are delighted with them. You did such an amazing job, thank you so much, you really captured the day.
Best wishes,
Anita & David”
Now that my trumpet has been blown – see below for a small selection of images from their day – hope you enjoy 🙂

I did quite a few weddings during 2014 and they were all very special & joyous occasions – however, the wedding of Stephanie & Joshua will linger long in my mind. Traveling from the USA, this was such an intimate affair with a total of 18 guests (including the bride & groom). It was set in the fab Hunters Hotel, a spot I hadn’t been to previously, and it was run by Collette from Elegant Events so I knew from previous experience the little touches would be perfect. But perhaps the most memorable part of the day was the fact the Stephanie (the bride) had just been discharged from hospital after taking severely ill, and was only discharged because she was getting married. Did this affect her ?? Not in the slightest !! The giddiness, the fun and the love between Stephanie & Joshua shone through, as did the evening sun making for some memorable photos.Hope you enjoy 🙂

It was great to be back at Thomas Prior Hall for the wedding of Sarah & Darragh. It’s such a fab venue which suits the Christmas season so well. This was very much an international affair, with the b&g both living abroad (in different countries / continents !!), and with guests flying in from all corners of the world it was a fantastic atmosphere, with everyone out to have a great time – which they did (with gusto !). Hope you enjoy the few pics below.

It was fitting to spend Halloween in a haunted csatle – Kinnitty to be exact, shooting the wedding of Linda & Connor. Unfortunately the weather didn’t play ball and, from early morning to late evening the rain fell with style !! This didn’t dampen the spirits for Linda, Connor, their family & guests however, as big open fireplaces and the warm & cosy interior of the castle ensured that everyone had a great time.

I had the absolute pleasure of shooting Fiona & Davids wedding in the stunning Bellingham Castle this October. It was a great day, the sun shone, the crowd were great and Fiona & David were wonderful to deal with. Not only did we share a mutual love of beaches & dogs 🙂 but, on the day, we complimented each other with our relaxed attitude which lead to some lovely photos. Just a small selection follows.
