Last autumn I had the absolute pleasure of shooting Sharon & Pauls wedding at the stunning Kilshane House, Tipperary. It really is a wonderful time to shoot there and the weather played it’s part, clear & sunny day lighting up the wonderful autumn tones in the trees. Throw in a relaxed couple with little or no demands and a clear night so we could get a few outside shots before the dancing and overall it was a fab day. Olivia & Robbies big day was one of those Carlsberg moments – everything just fell together nicely. From the moment I arrived at Olivias house I was made to feel at home. It also helped that ceremony was in Fore church where I have shot lots of weddings. We had decided to try get to Fore Abbey for photos as the leaves were a fantastic hew and, just as we arrived at the Abbey the rain stopped, giving us perfect conditions for photos. It was on then to the Hotel Kilmore, another spot I am very familiar with. We had hoped for some nighttime shots here and again, the rain stopped and we had a wonderful window for shots in the beautifully lit gardens. As I said, everything just fell into place nicely. I was delighted with how the photos turned out and with comments like “I’ve looked at the photos a million times..thank you” and “every photo you took was just perfect” it seems Olivia & Robbie were happy as well !!

Fun was the order of the day when Linda and Michael tied the knot in August. From the ceremony in Meelick, a quick stop at the shop and then on to the Lough Rea Hotel & Spa the smiles and laughs never laid up. I was so happy and privileged to be part of their big day and hopefully the photos below will give you an idea of how the day went.
During the summer I had the pleasure of shooting Jenni & Declans big day at Rathsallgh House. with such a relaxed and welcoming couple and a fab venue it was hard to put a foot wrong. From the moment I arrived right through to the dancing where Jenni gave her guests a surprise with her awesome Irish dancing I felt more like a guest than the photographer. Hopefully the photos below will give you an idea of the day and I was so thrilled to hear from the happy couple when they posted a 5 star review on a wedding supplier website.

With everything taking place in the one spot and the ceremony in a clearing in the forest it really was a pleasure to be part of the day.
