I took a trip down to Galway at the start of August to shoot Maggi & Bobbys wedding. It was a long day as I stayed for the first few dances, but well worth it as they we a lovely couple to work with. It was one of those days when, unfortunately, the weather didn’t play ball and our planned photos had to be scrapped, but I managed (I hope !!) to get a great selection of images.

Are you one of those couples who don’t like posing for photos, not relaxed in front of the camera ? I specialise in relaxed & informal photography with the emphasis
on natural rather than overly posed and in your face photos. Yes, I still will take a few closeups – but not loads, I prefer to get the couple to walk off, have a chat and
look at each other rather than at me. If this is what you are after for your photos just drop me a line and perhaps we can work together to deliver a fabulous selection
of relaxed yet beautiful and intimate photos from your big day.

I always look forward to shooting weddings, but was especially looking forward to Aoife & Dannys wedding as it was being held in Kippure Estate, a first time at the venue for me, but I know the roads around the area from my landscape days and love the Wicklow countryside. We took a detour and crossed over to Lough Tay and it was well worth the trip as we got a stunning image, one for the wall !!! The whole day was laid back, relaxed, but went like clockwork, and the fab surroundings of Kippure Estate really lent itself to the overall atmosphere, even though I couldn’t get the bride & groom to go on the zip-line, or partake in a bit of paintballing !! 🙂 Hope you like the pics below.

We really had a great day recently photographing Arlene & Pierres wedding. The bride & groom, as well as their families were so laid back and relaxed, the lovely quaint church in Wicklow really added to the day, and the fabulous Tinakilly House was stunning. The sun was shining and the venue was done up with shabby chic decor along with vintage lemonade (and lots of ice) being served while the guests chilled out on the lawns. If I had a complaint it was that it was too sunny !! But then again I’m never happy 🙂 – hope you like the pics.

Had a lovely day photographing Deirdre & Joels wedding at Horetown House recently. Was great to meet up with previous couples (I had photographed Deirdres brothers wedding) and the welcome back from Kate & Niamh in Horetown (along with a pot of coffee) was just what I needed after a long drive. See attached pics for a flavour of the day.
