One of the regular questions I get asked is if I take the \u201cfamily\u201d shots. \u00a0<\/span>Yes, I love documentary photography, and no, I\u2019m not a big fan of overly posed images\u2026\u2026.but I\u2019m a big fan of balance. So, while I take some shots of the fun during the preparations, I don\u2019t forget the shoes & the dress, and whereas I prefer to direct rather than pose couples, I still try to get some \u201ctimeless\u201d bride and groom images, and yes, I do get the all important \u201cfamily\u201d shots, but I don\u2019t drag out the whole affair till everyone has a pain in their face ! As I said, it\u2019s all about balance, and delivering a selection of images to each couple which represents an accurate reflection of their big day both posed & unposed.<\/p>\n
